Privacy Policy
FieldCalc is built to respect your privacy. No accounts, no advertising trackers — your calculation inputs never leave your device. We use Google Analytics (GA4) only to understand aggregate site usage.

Short version
No accounts, no advertising trackers. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser, so there is no account data and no calculation history stored on any server. We use Google Analytics for aggregate usage statistics only — see below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage — for example, which calculators are visited most. IP addresses are anonymized, no personal data is collected, and your calculation inputs are never sent to Google. You can opt out entirely with theGoogle Analytics opt-out add-on.
What we do not collect
- No accounts or signups — there is nothing to register.
- No advertising trackers or third-party pixels.
- No calculation inputs, results, or job data sent to a server.
- No cookies for advertising. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies for session analysis — block or delete cookies and every calculator keeps working.
What stays on your device
- Theme preference — stored in
localStorageso dark/light mode persists. Delete site data to remove it. - Offline cache — a service worker caches pages and calculators so tools work with no signal. Clear via your browser's “clear site data” option.
- Shareable URLs — calculation inputs are encoded in the link you copy. We never see them; whoever you send the link to can read the inputs from the URL itself.
Hosting and standard logs
Like every website, our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (for example, requested page and timestamp) to keep the site secure and reliable. These logs are not combined with any identity, because we hold none.
Fonts
Pages load the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those files, Google receives a standard font request. If you prefer, block third-party fonts — the site falls back to system fonts and every calculator keeps working.
Children
FieldCalc is a general-reference engineering tool with no accounts and no personal data collection. It is not directed at children, and there is no mechanism for a child (or anyone) to submit personal data to us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated date above changes with it. Because there are no accounts, there is no mailing list to notify — the page itself is the record.
